GMA's GX/GXHD, G(C/CS) or GU model packers can in most cases also be delivered as a double packer, i.e. two packer rubbers in a row with a packer washer in between.
These double packers are used where friction against boreholes is not sufficient via a regular packer rubber (due to poor base conditions).
Technical data for double packers can be obtained from the same model and size as regular GX/GXHD, G(C/CS) or GU packers. The difference, however, is that the total length of the packs increases by 145mm, otherwise everything else is the same.
Double packers can be supplied as both low and high pressure models.

For use in poor ground conditions.
Available in both low-pressure and high-pressure versions. For technical information and dimensions, see the respective low or high pressure model of the regular GX packer, all information is the same, except that the length of the double packer increases by 145mm (packer length see TDS for current packer type).

Double packer with C tip (check-valve)

Open double packer without check valve (reusable packer)
To be use in poor ground conditions.
The same type of packing is used for low pressure and high pressure version, the essential thing is sufficient injection pipe anchoring when higher pressure is used and correct couplings and ball-valves on the pipe.
