GMA's patented solution to install rebars in leaking boreholes and carrie out injection with 5-10 Bar overpressure in addition to the current water table in the borehole. This approach saves time and money, and requires no extra boreholes to inject in the event of a leaking borehole. Sealing takes place in conjunction with that the rebar for rock reinforcement being installed in the original borehole.
Rebars, dome plates, spherical washers, and nuts are used from the regular rebar delivery together with the Thorbolt to minimize the cost for the customer.
GMA's Thorbolt is available in two versions, Galvanized or Combi-coated (galvanized + epoxy coated), and it is supplied as standard for borehole diameters of 45 or 48 mm but is also available for other borehole diameters.
Lengths: 420mm, 620mm, or 1000mm.
Adapter for rebars: Standard is M24 and M20, but also available for M27 or 1".
Other: The Thorbolt model for immediate rock securing is also available, where rebar is also included in the delivery.
