Our specially developed double packer for hydraulic fracturing of rock (fracking) can be used where pressures are up to 400 Bar.
The rubber of the double packer is tensioned by internal hydraulic cylinders (not visible in the picture). Then, the actual fracturing is done by pumping water into the holes in the picture (between the two rubbers of the packer).
The entire double packer in the picture is developed and manufactured at GMA. The dimensions of this packer are Ø155 on the rubber discs, and the packer has a total length of about 1500mm.
