GMA has developed several different packers for use with rock bolts, SDA bolts and combination bolts. The pictures show some of the special packers we have made for different types of rock bolts. Some variants are available to suit different types of rock bolts and borehole sizes.
1. The first picture shows the packer with a tightening tool for rock bolt with R-thread with injection hose and ventilation hose.
2. The second picture shows a conical packer for dynamic rock bolt for boreholes between 36-46mm, bolt diam 20mm incl 2pcs 8mm passthroughs for injection and ventilation.
3. The third picture shows a packer for Ø51 boreholes mounted on a 32mm SDA bolt, including a stop washer, tightening washer, tightening tube, and nut. The length of the tightening tube is adapted to how far into the borehole you intend to put the packer. The packer is also made of slightly softer rubber than a regular packer so that it can be pushed forward to the stop washer.
4. The fourth and fifth pictures show packers for the combination bolt, one conical packer for installation at the end of the combination bolt, and the other packer solution for installation in the rock.
